St. Louis Cabinet Refacing

Older cabinetry can be easily refaced with modern replacement doors, drawer fronts and trim at about half the cost of installing new cabinetry, while preserving expensive granite, marble and quartz countertops. Cabinet Solutions offers St. Louis’ largest selection of replacement doors and finish options, as well as optional matching cabinetry that can be added to any refacing project.

Refacing Process

Our replacement doors carry warranties ranging from one year to life. The following provides an overview of our refacing process:

  1. Door style, finish (stained, painted, distressed), hardware and optional countertop selections are finalized (either in-home or at our showroom).
  2. We provide all-inclusive project pricing (all materials, labor, sales tax).
  3. Our owners perform a detailed in-home measurement for the new doors, drawer fronts, end panels, decorative trim, hardware and any new cabinetry to be added (this provides an excellent opportunity to answer any final questions).
  4. Your cabinet order is placed with one of our four cabinet manufacturers.
  5. A mutually agreed-upon installation date is scheduled (most projects begin on Monday and are completed on or before Friday).
  6. Upon arrival, our installers remove and dispose of the old doors, drawer fronts and trim.
  7. The existing cabinet face framing is prepared for the installation of the matching wood veneer or solid quarter-inch wood (we paint all interior face fame edging for a professional look).
  8. The new doors, drawer fronts end panels, decorative trim, hardware and new cabinetry are installed.
  9. Our installers perform a final cleaning of the work area.
  10. Our lead installer performs a final walk-through with you to ensure your satisfaction (if an issue is identified at a later date, we will fix it).
